Prof. Dr. Hakan EMMEZ
Neurosurgeon
Born in Ankara in 1974, Prof. Dr. Hakan Emmez trained at the Department of Neurosurgery, Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, and became a full professor in 2018. His main interests are radiosurgery (Gamma Knife, CyberKnife), neuro-oncology, neurovascular surgery and spinal surgery. He currently sees patients at his private clinic and at Güven Hospital in Ankara. He is married with two children.

- Graduated from TED Ankara College in 1992.
- Completed residency training at the Department of Neurosurgery, Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, between 1993 and 1999.
- Earned a PhD in Neuroscience in 2013.

- Has worked at the Gazi University Gamma Knife Radiosurgery Center since 2004.
- Completed his military service as an Air Force medical officer at Eskişehir Military Hospital between 2006 and 2007.
- Currently sees patients at his private clinic and at Güven Hospital, Ankara.
